Mrs. Killen was always so kind and caring to all of Guys friends when we were growing up. We would often be hanging out at the Killen house shooting baskets out front in the driveway. She would holler out of the front door “do you fellas care for some sandwiches and iced teas?” And man did we say yes because her home made ICED TEA by far was the best on the planet. She was definitely a positive influence on my life since I was one of those kids that was raised by the village. She’s finally in heaven with Walt who she dearly missed since his death. What a wonderful woman!!

Dear Guy and Sherri,
I am so sorry to hear about your mom. We all spent so much time together growing up. I have so many fond memories. I had visited her a few times and she told stories about us as kids and about helping to teach my mom to drive. Sending love and prayers to your family.

Dear Guy & Sherri - Was saddened when Guy gave me the news about the passing of your mom. God certainly blessed you both with a wonderful mother. I feel so fortunate that because of my friendship with Guy that I had your mom in my life at such a young age. She was a loving and positive influence over my life as I was growing up. That's why when Walt passed away, I started making visits to your mom to see how she was making out. Your mom flooded me with beautiful stories about all of us growing up there in West Deptford. But she always would come back to this one central theme. How proud she was of her family.
How much total joy her son Guy and her daughter Sherri brought into her life every day. And that joy got multiplied when Grace and Madison made her one proud grandmom. Rest In Peace Mrs. Killen because when God created you, He did some of His best work.

The thing I remeber the most about Mrs. Killen is her smile…she always had a sweet smile. We enjoyed traveling with her and listening to her stories. She was as much a part of my family as her own. Rest in peace Mrs. Killen you surely will be missed….
